I had my first rehearsal for "Reading Harold Pinter" - a short play in the upcoming Mardi Gras Colour Blind Project play festival. It opens at Sidetrack Theatre, Marrickville on 23 February. Yes, just 7 days away. Thank heavens the rehearsal went well!

I couldn't be more pleased with how "The Beckoning Cat" went. Although we didn't win any prizes on the day, the play was very well received. Wonderful cast - thank you Sheree, Pru and Stephen. Wonderful support from all at Short + Sweet. Looking forward to my next directing gig!

I am excited to announce that I will be directing a Wildcard play for Short + Sweet 2011. Titled "The Beckoning Cat" and with a wonderful cast (Sheree da Costa, Prudence Vindin and Tom Keane), I am so looking forward to starting rehearsals for the February 12th performance NIDA Parade Playhouse.

I am so excited to have been cast in the role of Vivian Bearing in the Pulitzer Prize winning play, W;t by Margaret Edson, which will play at New Theatre, 10 June to 10 July. I've started rehearsals - it is a monumental and challenging role but I am loving every minute.

"Wild Things" came third in the People's Choice award for Week 5 of Short and Sweet Wildcards. Better still, strangers actually came up to me in the foyer to tell me how much they enjoyed it. That makes it all worthwhile.
